Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) @ SUNWAY

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is a transit system that utilizes separated bus ways, with modern stations, feeder services, integrated pedestrian access, rapid boarding and high service frequency.





The proposed BRT Sunway Line will link up key areas in Sunway and Subang Jaya with 7 stations, strategically connected to other modes of public transport.

It will feature park and ride infrastructure and covered walkways to all major commercial centres, as well as the latest eco-friendly bus system with disabled-friendly features.

The proposed alignment of the BRT Sunway Line, starts from the KTMB Setia Jaya Station to the  future Kelana Jaya LRT Line Extension Station in USJ 6, with 7 halts and Park-n-Ride facilities, as well as disabled-friendly features.

"Bandar Sunway has already seen big gains over the last few years, says Sritharan. A basic double storey link house that was going for over RM300K five years ago recently transacted for RM720,000. These houses are leasehold, furthermore.

Nevertheless, Sritharan believes that with the existence of nearby communication hubs, property prices may still appreciate by 20% to 30%, once services are up and running.
